Viaduc de Saint-Jacques

Sibiril

St-Jacques viaduct was built under the Second Empire. Overlooking the Guillec valley, it was made for the slow transport of vegetables by “potato trains” between Saint-Pol-de-Léon and Brest via Lesneven. Threatened by road traffic, it disappeared in the 1950’s. Rehabilitated afterwards, it is a recommended walkway for hikers thanks to the panoramic view over the Guillec valley and Moguériec harbour.
